Kate Keller, General Coordinator - Everything she needed to know, she learned in the mountains of southeast Mexico. From Latin American solidarity work, to farm work, to her work at the co-op, Kate brings and eclectic resume in food and social justice. Her fascination with the wide world of cooperatives began when she realized that the inherent structure [of co-ops] was to level the playing field for truly equal participation and distribution of resources. She has worked for nearly six years with the many amazing forces that have built the co-op, and now happily shares her job with Lacy Roberts.
Lacy Roberts, Weekend Coordinator – Lacy Roberts is a Montana native with a love for all things vegetable, community oriented, and with a pedal steel guitar. She spent her time at Brown University studying American foodways, producing a podcast, and eating some dang tasty local produce. Her interest in food has expressed itself in all sorts of ways: from working with the Kitchen Sisters, a public radio production team famous for their Hidden Kitchens series, to working in locavore-y restaurants on both coasts, and designing a web-based neighborhood food memory project. She recently moved back to Missoula with a mind to fully participate and contribute to the community that has always supported and inspired her.
